It really depends…some manufacturers have transferable warranties which means if you buy it from someone while the original warranty is in effect, then that warranty transfers to you. Some warranties can be negated when the item is sold by an unauthorized seller.
As far as returns, sellers have different terms for returns…it’s not governed by eBay. Some sellers will take a return, others will not. Never buy from anyone on eBay until you know if you can return a damaged item or not.
i got a phone off of ebay once and i couldnt get a warranty because i didnt buy the phone from them. It all depends on your carrier. If were you i would call them first before you buy your phone, so youre not wasting your money.
